Well everything has wrapped up!! American Idol: Kris Allen (ok), Dancing with the Stars: Shawn Johnson (I am good with that too), Survivor: JT (I love JT), The Celebrity Apprentice: Joan Rivers (I believe I have said this before - YUCK!!!!!) So maybe now I will actually get something done around my house!! We need to finish the kitchen (painting and stuff), switching my craft room and my sons bedroom (I have way toooooooooo much stuff), and clean up the yard. Mom is coming to town in the middle of June so I really need to get my butt moving!!! Hope all is going well for everyone, and I will be posting some cards very soon!! Today I baked cookies all day(but still have not eaten any!!). I love to give gifts for different occasions so I made Easter sugar cookies while I got my vegetables ready for tomorrow. The weather here is really kind of nice for a change, the sun is shining and it is about 50 degrees and we get to go bowling tonight then come home and wait for the Easter Bunny!!! Hello out there in blog land!!! I have recently joined Facebook and I am still not sure that I prefer that to blogging. For me I leaning towards blogging as more comfortable (for me anyway). So many people do not understand the whole scrapbooking, card making thing that when you post on your blog it just seems more personal. Oh well everyone has there own opinion. Happy middle of the week everyone!!! I have been watching more reality TV!!! Little Megan Joy got the boot on American Idol tonight. There was something about her that I really liked. But as you all know someone has to go. Yesterday the apple guy and the playboy bimbo went home from Dancin, I was soooooooooo ok with that!!! Here in lovely Detroit, Michigan we will be having the Final Four college basketball tournament this weekend, now I am not really big into sports but Michigan State is in the final four!!! So everyone say "GO STATE"!!!!! (By the way I got another "Mouse" and I just love him. Let me know what you think.)

Ok, I take way too many pictures of my girls. At least that is what my husband says. But this has to be one of the greatest shots I have ever gotten of Lacey!! Happy belated St. Patricks Day! After looking at Pat O'Briens bar on the way home from work last night I decided I was not even leaving my house!!!! I am sure that I was crazy enough in my youth (probably still am) but the thought of all those drunks on the road at one time . . scarry............... So on to my newest reality addiction, I (if you can believe it) have never watched American Idol before this year. Tonight little Alexis got kicked off, and I don't know how I feel about that, I know someone has to go but I really do not think she was the worse singer. I am sooooooo excited, finally something I watch is coming back on. Survivor is one of my favorite shows. I know sometimes it is rather gross, but I love it!. In fact I like alot of reality shows, Survivor, Amazing Race, Dancing with the Stars and the best one Big Brother!!! Well once again I have ignored my blog! I certainly do spend enough time messing around on the computer so I don't know why I can't update this little space. Well here in our little neck of the woods all the snow has melted and it is raining. Go figure February in Michigan?!?!? Lets see what else is new, Kwame is out of jail, too many people are unemployed, and no one has any money. But it is forcing everyone to hang out at home, which is not all bad. I am trying to create a little every night, or at least organize. If I could only stop buying stamps. I did make a few birthday cards. I really do have a thing for house mouse, they are so stinkin cute, but someone tell me I have enough!!! Have a good evening and sleep tight!! I did forget to note that I used watercolor pencils and a blender pen, a technique that Miss Dawn taught me. Isn't it nice to know you can still learn new things!!!

Hope everyone is having a nice day!! I decided I have a real problem, a couple of years ago I got involved in stamps. Now it is a terrible obsession!! If you could see how much scrapbooking and stamping supplies I own, well lets just say I have so much stuff I don't know what I have anymore. So today I received a new box from the mailman!!WooHoo I have developed a real desire to own all the house mouse stamps!! I just love these guys, my husband and cousin Michelle call them Rats!! Every year I dread Christmas day. Just the actual day, the rest I love! The prep, the anticipation, the whole season, most people just seem nicer! Then Christmas day is here and I have to deal with (and buy gifts for) relatives I see on the average of twice a year. Someday I am going to figure out just how to avoid this!!!! Other than this problem, Christmas was really nice this year. Everyone has job, we are for the most part healthy, and Mom is in from Florida. Also, our weather here in Michigan has been extremely strange for the past 2 weeks. I did not get as many Christmas cards made as I needed to, but then I really was doing sewing projects for Christmas!!!! I must have made 8 pairs of Flannel PJ pants, and I enjoyed every moment!!! Well I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. (This picture is my favorite neices, nephew, mom and son!!)

Well you all probably thought I fell off the earth. I have not posted anything in so long, I think I forgot how. Halloween has come and gone, the election has come and gone (thank god!!) and even health problems have come and gone!! So this has been an extremely relaxing weekend for me, I have been working on cards and also making a large pot of Chicken noodle soup!!! The weather here in lovely Michigan is really WHITE!!! Yesterday it was windy and rainy all day and today it is snowing like crazy!!!! I am also trying to get some patterns cut out for Flannel pants for Christmas presents, so I have been keeping myself pretty busy. Hope your weekend was also relaxing.

Well right now I am in Las Vegas and let me tell you the weather here is really bizarre!!! It is like 65 and has been in the sixty's since we got here 3 days ago. We are having a family reunion with my husbands sisters and cousins and having a really nice time even though I really do not gamble much, but my feet and shins are killing me from all the walking. So the beginning of another week. Our weekend here in Michigan was extremely wet!!! Needless to say the last day of our Garage sale was really lousy!! But at least while sitting at my sisters house (for the sale) in between the very few customers that there were, I got some images colored for cards and my sister worked on her nephews first Birthday book. Happy Thursday everyone! I had a doctors appt. yesterday and have been wearing a heart monitor for 2 days now. This thing is extremely annoying!!! Well tomorrow I get to take a stress test and get this thing off. (I thank my Mother for wonderful genes!!!) I am going to take my new Stampin Up catalog with me tomorrow while I am at the Doctors. I have Stamp Camp tomorrow night and we all know that you have to order something, as you can never have enough stamping supplies!!! So anyway I thought tonight I would do something different like take more pictures of my girls. I love to follow them around and snap away, I don't think they like it but they love me anyway!!! It has been soooooooooo long since I posted anything. I have not even been that busy!! Let's see, Mom went home,my son started school, I am still addicted to Joann's, yes I would say that everything is ok here. Before Mom left she colored so many stamped items, I have been making her cards with them. So I decided that since she already went home with probably 25 Christmas cards and I have made her at least 10 more, I need to start working on my Christmas stuff!!! We made alot when we were meeting once a week and everyone had to design one card and everyone else made it. I made a thanksgiving card (above) and got yelled at because the assignment was Christmas. Oh well I don't care because I really love how this turned out. OK, I must go for now, but I have to make myself blog more!! (hope everyone is watching Big Brother - I miss Renny already!!!) Sunday in sunny Michigan, the humidity is finally starting to go away, the Olympics are almost over, school will start soon and Mom is going back to Florida this week. So we had a little family gathering today (hence the above pictures) or as my son calls it FFF (forced family fun!). All in all it was an OK day, we played with the Wii, bowling, boxing, baseball, went through the new Stampin Up catalog, ate way too much food and got home in time to watch Big Brother. Mom leaves on Wednesday so I need to finish her pj's that I am making her, finish some cards (mom colored the images) and probably go out to dinner one more time. God willing she will be back for Christmas, but we will still miss her!!! Well time to get to bed, got to work in the morning and remember Dancing with the stars roster will be announced tomorrow!!! Well once again it has been a very long time since I posted anything. Let's see what has happened, Big Brother 10 is really getting good, these people are nuts!! Kwame went to jail (nice to have the mayor of a major city in jail)!!! But really I have been working and spending time with my Mom who is only here for a couple more weeks. We have been getting together with my sister, niece, and cousin to make Christmas cards for the last 3 Sundays. Everyone designs a card and brings everything necessary to make it for 5 people, the one above we made a couple of weeks ago (I finally figured out how to use my new punch). It really is fun, but today I just stamped a bunch of images and Mom is downstairs coloring them in. The weather here (to me anyway) is wonderful, the temp is about 65 and breezy. Well hope you all have a good week, and don't forget Big Brother is on in 30 minutes!!!!

Well here in Michigan we are on day 4 of hot & humid!!! yuck!!!!!!!!! I do not have central air so I just try and stay in my craft room (window air) and try to do something creative. Happy Monday!!! Hope you all had a great weekend. I went to a Stampin Up gathering on Friday, Saturday I bothered my sister and my mom and yesterday we celebrated my son and my niece's birthday. (They have the same birthday - 5 years apart) I do not understand how my son got so old, it seems like just yesterday he was 9 now he is 22.

I am now working full time, so I probably will get less creative than normal, but I really am going to try and concentrate on getting some things done. I hoping to get some christmas cards or scrapbooking done this weekend. You all have a great week remember it is a short work week!! yahooooooooooooooooo!!

OK, so the weather outside (in my opinion) is frightful!!! First week of June and what happened to 75 - 80, no we have to go right to 93!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate heat & humidity!! Just thinking, does anyone else not understand the price of gas, why Kwame is still the mayor and why there are so many mean people out there?!?!?!? Also, I have a problem with my favorite reality shows ending, Survivor, Big Brother, now Dancing with the Stars. (What am I suppose to watch now???) The winner of Survivor really disappointed me, winner of Big Brother was OK, So I can only hope Kristy wins Dancing with the Stars. I know I watch to much TV, but it keeps me out of trouble. I hope you all had a wonderful day. The weather here in lovely Michigan was awful (cold and wet), the kind of day you want to stay in bed and watch movies all day. I received candy from my husband, a card from the cats and flowers and wine from my little boy (who is 21). My husband and my son are also taking down the wallpaper in the kitchen, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! Also, my sister and I went shopping and made purchases at the Mega meet. We bought nestabilites, circles and ovals and then if you spent a certain amount you got a free spellbinders machine, so of course we had to get a few flower dies. She of course has a machine that is adaptable, I then got the new spellbinders machine!! Well, have a nice day I have to go the the dentist, and check on the wallpaper removal.

Well once again I have not posted in quite awhile! I also once again have not been creative. I really have good intentions but never get much done, I think I over analyze things instead of just making something. You know how you just sit and think move this, or add this, or Stella always does a better job than me. I need to get rid of this thought process and get busy. I do not even remember the last time I created a scrapbook page!!

On another note it is almost Mother's Day what do you all think about having 3 cats?? I already have 2 girls and (the one above, Lacey, only weighs 22 pounds!) I would like another (my family does not think I need one). Oh well maybe they will get me what I really want, the wallpaper taken down in my kitchen. Well it is Sunday evening April 13 and I have not posted anything (it seems like) forever. Hope everyone is doing good out there. We celebrated birthdays at my sisters house this afternoon. Happy Birthday Kristin!!! I have been sewing alot lately, instead of card making or scrapbooking. Birthday Kristin likes flannel pants and I love making them so she got her very own pink princess flannel pants and cinderella princess pants. On another note, I have purchased odorless mineral spirits and blender things to try my hand at this technique that my friend Dawn says is easy, well we will see about that. Hopefully I can sit down and get to doing this. Next Saturday is our last week of bowling for the season, so maybe when I get all the printouts for bowling done I will try that new technique. I did finish this card with a sizzix die cut, that I think turned out pretty good. Well it is now time for Big Brother, so I hope you all have a good week. I made cookies for my husband (the poor man has not had any for two weeks!!) then I went to work now it is decision time. Hello guys, I am leaving for Florida in the morning with my weird sister. Mom is having surgery (say a prayer) on Wednesday. Hopefully everything will work out good. I should be packing but instead I am playing on the computer, I so hate packing for anything!!! Since the card making items are packed I guess I better get some clothes thrown in there!!! Hopefully we get some cards made while taking care of Mom, since we can only take so much, we just might have to go shopping!! Well it is Monday, and not much happening in my neck of the woods. I went to my friend Dawn's first ever Stampin up extravaganza on Friday night. It was her debut as a demonstrator and a fine job she did. She has posted all the items we made on her blog "Dawns special creations". I got to see Miss Dawn and Miss Lynn whom I have not seen in a long time, and I really had a great time. I also need to send my sincere condolences to Mrs. Wilson and my friend Andrea, they both lost there kitty's this past weekend. Since you all know how much I love CATS, (and lost my Sam last year) please say a prayer for their babies. Thanks and be safe out there as our lovely Michigan air goes from 56 degrees and rain to 27 degrees and snow in a matter of hours.

< Hello everyone, well I got myself a blog award from Bonnie. Since I have not posted in awhile I would like to thank Miss Bonnie and wish her a really nice day!!! I hope everyone had a very nice Valentine's Day. It was my anniversary (16 years, my husband is sooooooo lucky) I had the day off and he worked 12 hours, go figure. He did get me my malted milk balls from the bulk food store (just what I asked for) and a bag of dove chocolates!! Now on to Big Brother 9!!! Between Survivor and Big Brother and working I never get anything else done. I absolutely love Big Brother, except these people seem a little strange. I think we need some older people on that show. Well I am now going back to doing some organizing and get to bed early, I have to work at 8:00 am tomorrow, then I am suppose to go to my sister's to create (hopefully) and then to watch BB9. Thursday Snow!!

I am still working on cleaning and organizing my room, but I made a few cards last night, since the weather was so wonderful, first freezing rain, then snow!! I Had the day off today, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Played with my camera, went to Paper Tales, Grocery Store, then made cookies and finally SURVIVOR!!!! Good-bye Johnny Fairplay, can not stand that guy!! There are a few other annoying people, but it was pretty good for the first show. Have a nice evening and stay warm!!

Cleaning!!!

I was trying to create last night and decided I really need to do some cleaning (and organizing) in my craft room!!! I was just moving things around and found 12 packages of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock!!! I have so much scrapping and card making supplies that I think I need an intervention!!! So maybe if I clean (and organize) this stuff I will be able to do some creating. Maybe I will finish my Son's 8th grade book (considering he is now 21 I think I do need to get busy!!) Speaking of my little boy is has the flu and an exam at 8:00 tonight, poor Bob!! Kind of hard to make him stay home at this age. So wish me luck with my cleaning, since I need to be at work at 4:00, this could take some time!!! Remember, have a nice day!!

I have not posted in quite a while so I thought (since I can't let my sister show me up) I better do some talking. Today is my husband's birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY!!! Since he had to go to work and my dinner plans and the baking was not necessary (and I have Tuesdays and Thursdays off for now) my sister dragged me to Archivers. Actually maybe dragged to a bit much, then we also hit one more scrapbook store. So instead of creating something with my new stamps I am cruising the Internet and watching TV. It is suppose to snow tonight along with extreme cold, so tomorrow morning I will make Johnny's birthday cookies and do dinner and presents before I have to go to work. OK, I decided I was going to try this again to make sure I got it! I made these 2 cards yesterday I really like the house mouse. I also would like to thank all my family and friends for getting together for scrapbooking/card making whenever I have to work. I am starting to get a really strange feeling about this. Stay Warm!!!

I finally learned how to do it!!! I got this great card from my friend Lynn (along with a ton of stamped images - now I can make a bella card!!). Lynn is one of the great ladies that got me started with this! Since I have to work this weekend I will have to hold off getting creative, because all I really want to do right now is get under a big blanket - IT IS FREEZING!!! Here in the lovely state of Michigan it is approximately 11 degrees and getting colder, so stay warm and have a nice day!!!

OK, I received a blog award from my friend Lynn. Thank you so much and thanks for encouraging me to start this blog, it really has been fun, a little frustrating, but definitely fun!! Now I have to learn to download my pictures from my camera to my computer. I know, it is probably easy but my husband has always done it, so as soon as I learn that then I can actually post some things I make (now I am going to have to get my butt busy). I thought I would try adding a few pictures (for practice), since I still have not made anything creative to photograph so I thought I would add some pics from Christmas 2007. My husband bought me a digital Canon Rebel, now I can use my other lenses on the digital. Sometimes I really do love that man (just kidding Johnny!!) OK, I am still trying to figure this out and since I have to work this weekend I really have not been spending that much time trying to figure it out. I just hope this blog will help be get off my but and get busy creating things and as soon as I learn how to load my pictures on the computer by myself I will be in business, since I know you (all approx 8 of you) are just dying to see exactly how creative I am and of course new pictures of my girls!!!
